From theatrical_muse: What is the scariest thing that has ever happened to you?

Oh, that's easy. Not that it is when I remember it.

See, Avon and I were on an overloaded shuttle and we had to throw all the surplus weight out the airlocks so we could make orbit. One guess who was just one more piece of excess baggage? Lucky I heard that bloody computer Orac telling him I weighed 73kg so I had time to hide.

Most of the time when I'm in dangerous situations, it's all happening too fast for me to worry, but there I was, curled up in a tiny cupboard, listening to him getting closer and closer and calling for me in a sickly-sweet honey voice. I had plenty of time to imagine what it might be like to be spaced, and to remember back when we were friends. I don't cry much, but I did then.

Then he found the planted neutron matter, but I still have nightmares.
